She is just such a strong player, love her game. She doesn't get the accolades other players get due to WVU not being a "top" team but she can play.

Nice win for WVU. Definitely think overall they are the 2nd best BIG 12 team after Baylor.

Her game reminds me of Dungee's game. Also, DefenseBB, your idea of a generational player is quite different from what a generational player truly is. No way McCowan was a generational player in the real world.

Not only did Esmery Martinez sign with Vic while at MSU, after she was released from her LOI, she signed with Texas and Karen Aston the summer before the start of the 2019-20 season (which I was very excited about based on her reputation as a relentless rebounder). Nobody knows what happened, but she was removed from the Texas roster shortly after the official release that she had joined the program. Next thing we know, she signs with West Virginia.
So far this season, she has made huge improvements from her freshman season. You can tell she's a player who works very hard.
