10 years from now. Who are the top teams?

Ie, in some sense …
Which programs have money, great support from their schools, and great coaches

I voted Texas, South Carolina, USC and a random ACC/SEC program (likely LSU). All 4 schools have money and seem to be building in a positive direction. LSU/Texas/South Carolina will all likely have new coaches though. Gottlieb has a longer runway than the others but is the least proven.

Staley is 55. You think she’s gone in 10 years?

I could see her retiring at 65. Her body has been through a lot. It starts rebelling against one’s mental desires at about that age.

I think Caldwell at Tennessee might be a top level coach in ten years. She Dawn, Vic and Kim might all be gone in ten years. I hope Campbell has not been scooped up by a rich P-2 by the time Dawn retires but that’s probably a pipe dream.

Kara Lawson is 44. I've said before that I think she will won't be in coaching at the age of 55. Hopefully I'm wrong and that she is still at Duke. That being said, I voted for Duke, Texas, Southern Cal, and random ACC/SEC.

I'll bump this thread in 2035 if Duke makes it...if not... I'll leave this thread dormant

Cant read/no sub, but Geno also rolled his eyes/said no way in 2009 at the idea of being around long enough to get to 1000 wins. That was more than 550 wins ago.
Here's a better article:

But yes, who knows what'll happen. Dawn's also spoken about being interested in ownership so I could see her going that route too.

South Carolina (7) and Texas (5) lead
with Duke/UConn/USC at 4

And OTHER ACC/SEC with a whopping 6
