Maliya Hunter's father Wayne is an assistant coach for the Stanford Men's Basketball team (previously Washington State and University of California Riverside). He played for St. Mary's and made it to a Sweet 16.
I love Maliya's length and athleticism. Plays for the same high school as Morgan Cheli. After teammate Mckenna Woliczko (who might have been on pace for HS NPOY) tore her ACL, Hunter emerged as league POY as just a freshman.
