Kipke led Dexter to its first state championship game appearance as a senior, recording 59 tackles, 38 pressures, 9.0 tackles for loss and 5.5 sacks. He was a three-year starter on the defensive line and a two-way player as a senior. He was a MHSFCA First-Team All-Region and All-District selection and a first-team all-conference pick.
