He's from Middletown, NJ, not Delaware. He was apparently on his way to IMG Academy for a PG year, which is why he visited for Junior Day in February. Either he's a late qualifier or the coaches took another look and decided to get him now before he could take that 4.47 on a test drive in Florida. I generally take measurements with a grain of salt, but he ran a 6.50 to win his class (similar to CT Class L I think) in the 55M at the NJ championships so he can run.
