He did, and he looked ok. Not sure how many no-shows Louisville had, but Toledo came back strong after being down.

I think he’s QB1. He looked good in the bowl. I commented on the board during that game that I hoped we could get him. He’s a big dual threat QB that can throw it pretty well, shows great composure and is good on his feet. He just looks like a good QB. Considering he came into that game to start after being on the bench all season, he was impressive.

Considering he came into that game to start after being on the bench all season, he was impressive.

His strength passing in that game seem to be throws down the seams. His outs were little off the mark but it was his 1st college start. Also had one of the strangest plays I've ever seen. He rocketed a pass into a diving WR and it bounced off his knee like 13 yards back and caught by the right OT for a 3 yard loss.

Really strong arm.

Watched Toledo vs. Louisville bowl game. This kid looked really good. He has all the tools to be the next great QB for UConn. He plays a bit like Vince Young.
