There were none.

In that sense the committee got it right which makes it all the more ridiculous Seton Hall couldn't find a way into the field in a weaker than usual BE. They had their chances.

Best teams left out imo were San Diego st, New Mexico and Stefan f Austin, the last of which I definitely feel for with a 28-5 season. But not really any snubs.

Miami OH as a first four was bad though, should have been one of the last four byes and St Johns deserved a 4 but an 8 for nova was generous imo.

Miami Ohio as the last team in was a bit disrespectful. But in a strange way I think most people actually WANT to see them in Dayton to see if they’re for real or if they get beat to a pulp before the round of 64.

They make it far more entertaining than some bad P4. All for it. Committee did a stellar job this year.

I would have given them more credit for the undefeated regular season, but their resume was so unusual, and their Sos so low, that I’m o.k. With the Committee in effect compromising. If they’re a really good team they’ll get through Dayton and get into the main draw.

I also support this. For what it's worth, the betting public are deeply skeptical. The lines last night showed Miami (OH) like a 3:1 underdog against SMU, while the other play-in games were close to 50/50.

The BE got snubbed. Top 2 teams in same regional, and no Seton Hall?

I think it was a good choice. They kind of had to include them but I think it puts the field on notice that scheduling that soft of a schedule will almost never be rewarded.

Yale wasn't snubbed but that was a highly entertaining conference final. I don't know TJ Power's story other than he started out at Duke but the guy was unstoppable for Penn.

I agree with this. No snubs, but putting St. John's and UConn in the East is BS, one of the worst things the committee did. Still don't see Shall as snubbed. 0-7 vs Nova, St. Johns, and UConn. Had to have had at least one of those, at least. And 1 less loss vs the 5/6 teams in the BE. They were two wins (and one good win) away from getting in IMO.

I didn't say that. They were a first four (or whatever you call it), which is correct. They have a play-in game, which is bogus. Should have been given a bye into the field of 64, even if still an 11 seed.

They are the antithesis of Auburn.

Auburn - top 5 toughest SOS, 16 losses, some good Q1 wins
Miami OH - bottom 300s SOS, 1 loss, no Q1 games, let alone wins

SOS is a double-edged sword: top SOS with top 3 finish in conf, and you're in; top SOS with sub .500 and you're out. Gotta produce vs your SOS.

If you lose 16 games, I don’t care how hard your SOS is…..what have you accomplished other than showing up on time??
