So nowadays when you hire a new coach you essentially are signing up for a good chunk of the players he recruited and had in his old program as well. I watched the Toledo bowl game, and I would prefer we bring in another veteran to compete with Kalieb, but at least we are filling the vacant QB room some.
 
Mora just signed this guy, so I don't know how much the guys on our roster in the portal are going to still want to go to CSU, I'd imagine he will be anointed their starter:

they aren’t going into the season with 2 scholarship QBs so the veteran QB route to compete for the job is all but guaranteed. Still think it’s very likely Osbourne on the week 1 starter.

From what I have heard he is somewhat old school. With that being said he may not have as much tolerance with players entering the portal. I am seeing a coach with a confidence in his ability to recruit players that fit in his program. This may be the reason he was able to retain players at Toledo.

I was responding to the statement that Mora might not want our QB’s in the portal!
 
Anyone tracking the offers UConn has given out? I’m curious what QBs they are looking at, in addition to what they already have
