He is young. If uconn is looking i bet he makes a jump by the fallInteresting. Not very highly ranked. 6-4 combo guard? Hmmm.

And if he does, Kimani was there showing him love early. Make enough of those types of trips and the odds of getting a hit increase. New York is plenty close for these kinds of trips. He is young. If uconn is looking i bet he makes a jump by the fall
He’s from Brooklyn. I’d bet Kimani knows the family.Interesting. Not very highly ranked. 6-4 combo guard? Hmmm.
For 2026. Could be a riser over the summer like husky99 said or could be a developmental guy like you are alluding to. Hard to tell. Every year several players make a huge leap at the summer events. Our staff is usually in on those type of guys before most teams. Time will tell. This is a strange one, must be a roster filler candidate.
Miikka Muurinen will surely be in demand. 6'10 shooter from Finland with serious offers. If we see his name pop up as having UConn interest that would be excellent. In addition to Toure, Rippey and Holt, I've seen offers for Jordan Smith Jr, Miikka Muurinen and Qayden Samuels (his sister was on the women's team and just entered the portal). Also, there was interest but no offer yet for Brandon McCoy and Tyran Stokes.
Admittedly, I haven't followed 2026 very closely in recent months so things may have changed.

Mullins was a sub-100 player a year ago too. If we're recruiting him, he's got talent.
Playing up for the Lightning this year. Averaging 15ppg on good percentages only 2 games). He's due for a huge rankings bump if that continues.

I think he's more like 6'6 based on what I'm seeing here:
Or die in the cold vacuum of space“Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you'll land among the stars.”
EYBL bumped up their website stats for this year, which is a blessing. His team went 0-3 on the weekend. He only played a few minutes in one of the 3 games, but put up 15 points each in the other 2. 5 assists to 6 turnovers in the 2. 4/8 from 3.![]()

This is my number 1 want for next year in recruiting.
Pretty decent start, maybe he is a sleeper.EYBL bumped up their website stats for this year, which is a blessing. His team went 0-3 on the weekend. He only played a few minutes in one of the 3 games, but put up 15 points each in the other 2. 5 assists to 6 turnovers in the 2. 4/8 from 3.
I remember those days. What ever happened to Jeff Kulas Chester?Hopefully some dude we’re in on early who explodes. I remember being on the old AOL UConn boards back in the day when Jeff Kulas was the resident “expert.” Think he was at the Adidas camp and he reported back that some kid named McGrady who nobody knew about was the best player there day one and whoever was on him earliest might get a chance to grab him. By the end of the camp TMac was the consensus top recruit in the country.
No, they are not going to keep the roster at 10. Tom will address this in his media availability today. I posted it in another thread, but I will link it here as well.Is it possible or realistic that Danny is going to continue doing a 10 man roster going forward and use walk-ons as filler instead of developmental guys? Genuinely asking. Nowadays it seems like developmental guys will leave pretty quick unless you can pay them a ton AND make the final four, which is a high bar just to retain players.
This kid is awesome. Averaged 17 ppg, 5 rbs per game, 55% fg, 39% threes, 85% ft's over the 4 Adidas games for his new team BABC. They went 4-0.

I'd imagine roster fillers can be anyone who accepts the role. Plus high school kids probably cost less, especially kids with only mid major offers taking a chance. They're not recruiting high school kids to be roster fillers going forward. If they get in on a high school kid it's because they think he's going to have an impact day 1.
I don't think this is true and not the sense I got from the Tom Moore interview. I think we are going to be taking swings at the top 15-2O high school kids who can make an immediate impact (McNeeley, Castle, Flagg, etc...) and then kids below 60 who the staff evaluate as having potential and are willing to sit a year and develop. Jahda Swann looks like the perfect type who is perhaps under recruited and would be willing to come here and sit over the offers he already has. They're not recruiting high school kids to be roster fillers going forward. Yeah I could be wrong. I thought he was talking more about bringing in a class that has three top 50 kids in it. Then you have the issue with kids wanting to play right away vs the transfer portal kids. I don't see how we could totally get away from high schools kids when you have 15 scholarships to give out. Guess we will see how it plays out in the 26 class.I got the opposite sense from the Tom Moore interview. He specifically said they're going to go "all in" on one or two elite guys and bank scholarships for portal season. But we'll see.
I think you're right but your sense of scale is off. Probably the non 5s will end up being like 150+ development guys not just outside the top 60. Abraham was around 60 for example and that didn't work.I don't think this is true and not the sense I got from the Tom Moore interview. I'll go on record saying I think he's going to be top 5-10 in his class by the end of his senior year. I remember watching Jeremiah Fears last year before and after his reclass when he was around 35th in the country and you could tell he was a lottery pick. Same thing with Swann.Jahda Swann looks like the perfect type who is perhaps under recruited and would be willing to come here and sit over the offers he already has.
