Disagree for several reasons. First off, Reibe is going to be a force inside and out so he can be paired with any type of big.The ideal center to backup Reibe is going to be a Reed/Sanogo type to provide contrast -- not another guy who can play on the wing.
So if a center plays PF minutes to spell Stewart next season I am going to bet it is Reibe. Which does function as a way to make the backup center position look more attractive (more than 40 minutes per game available between the two centers).
Second, We haven’t had the inside/outside duo you’re referring to until this year. The last three seasons our starting and backup centers have all been paint dominant on O. they were more complimentary on the defensive end. Which leads me to my last point…
Third, While Reibe can play as a stretch 5 on offense he’s not guarding opposing PFs on D he’s too slow, and As I said, I want this transfer to compete with Stew for starting PF
