Ignore them. Trying to make an issue out of nothing. I guarantee you these same people said nothing negative about UConn’s full roster this past season.

Players come to SC to be challenged, and they know that playing with other really good players is a part of that. Some players can handle that, others can’t. Dawn promises nothing besides hard coaching and the players continue choosing her, so there’s nothing in need of defending.

I think this is bad news for a couple of players at South Carolina. Tournebize and Adhel Tac. I wonder if they knew she was coming.

On the other hand, great pickup for South Carolina. You can pretty much engrave their names on the national title atp imo.

Some coaches, even very successful ones, have a much more abrasive style than others. Occasionally, those differences in style even become evident to fans in high profile situations.

Fans notice that their very successful abrasive coach tends to carry a lighter roster because that is necessary with his (or her) coaching style, so they imagine that a coach with a less abrasive style could not possibly keep everyone happy, even if she (or he) has previously demonstrated the ability to do so.
