Just watched this USA vs. World all-star game. The World team had lots of commits to U.S. colleges. The USA won, 105-77.

In my opinion, the clear three best players were Saniyah Hall (USCw, 19p), Jerzy Robinson (USCe, 19p) and McKenna Woliczko (Iowa, 10p, 13r). All three were on the USA team, as was the impressive guard Maddyn Greenway (KY, 11p, 4s).

The best player on the World team was Jovana Popovich (UConn), who had 14 points on 6-9, 0-1, 2-2, with the highest team efficiency and 4r, 3a and 2s. She knows how to get to the rim and finish. Popovich, from Serbia, had 11 points in this game last year. Also, impressive for the World were Sitaya Fagan (USCw) with 15 points and Savvy Swords (KY) with 14. UConn commit Olivia Vukosa only played 13 minutes, but did have 6 points and 5 rebounds in that time. No one passed her the ball when she was inside the paint.

Highly touted Ivanna Wilson-Manyacka, whom I'd previously seen in person at the HoopHall Classic, again didn't impress me: 0-4 with 5 turnovers. She's quite athletic but has no concept of team play, being a high usage shooter and bulldozing driver who can score lots of points against weak teams but seems to struggle when she plays with or against top-flight players. She must be better than what I've seen.

HERE is the box score.

Thank you for your observations and BOXSCORE.

Thanks so much for the boxscore. My main non-Uconn takeaways were:
The announcers were absolutely dreadful. They went on and on about whatever they wanted and did not do informative play-by-play in a game where viewers needed to know who did what.
I don't know whether her decisions were impacted by the limited availability of some of her players, but the World's coach was coaching to lose and lose badly. Just look at the minutes for Sara Okeke (not a good game for her) and Vukosa (only player with a plus plus/minus on the team) - also throw in the fact that she did not start Popovic (although, eventually she went on to play 24 minutes). The difference in aggression and cohesion between the two squads was staggering.
Although this was just one game in their series, on this occasion I most impressed with Woliczko - she has a dynamic motor in tight spaces, jumps well and quickly, is tough and stays within herself.
Hall is a given: she us big, strong and gifted on both sides of the ball, and I don't feel confident that she Juju and Jazzy can survive together using only one basketball-when she gets the ball, she shoots the ball.
I thought that Swords was aggressive, but played mad bomber and was undisciplined (i know, it's an all-star game...).
Greenway is a great get for Kentucky: she fast, aggressive, fearless and, after getting tired of hunting her own drives/shots, showed a good knack for passing the ball.
I also appreciated your observations about Manyacka (let's remember that she has one more year of high school), and the fact that no one passed the ball to Vukosa (though Popovic did on several occasions, and she and Vukosa were deprived of a make and an assist on a 3 pointer that Vukosa made just a hair late at the end of the first half).

Like others have said, thank you for sharing your observations of the game and the box score. Ms. Hall is going to be something special for the USC. Ms. Robinson at South Carolina is going to be something special. I can't wait to see the World players, like Popovich, Okeke, Vukosa, and Swords, playing in the states.
