2026 ESPN 2026 SportsCenter NEXT 100 commits to date

Yardwork is finished. Not sure if Southern Comfort and Cheerwine mix well together, but might have to find out tonight.

A third member of LuHi's class of 2026 commits to Kentucky. After, Sanai Green (#25) and Savvy Swords (#19), Emily McDonald (#23) has also chosen the same university for next season.

Thought Sanai Green is Duke?

WIth the 3 - Olivia Vukosa (P) - UConn announcement yesterday, we're down to 22 uncommitted.

Lampley is commiting to LSU next Friday it looks like

Jerzy is at SC this weekend

Looks like Kaeli Wynn is back in Columbia? Her official was a while ago. She visited officially the same weekend as Emily McDonald.

A return visit is a good sign I think.

I hear it's a battle between South Carolina and Stanford for Wynn and a battle between UConn, South Carolina and LSU for Jerzy. I don't have any intel but I am starting to feel good about both. We desperately need a talent like Jerzy in this class and the door will be wide open to compete for a starter spot as a freshman at the 2 guard -- which is almost unheard of in our system as of late.

Barring any transfers out/in, SC will have 1 guard (a pg, McDaniel) and 3 wing type players next year (T. Johnson, Makeer, McDowell).. Robinson will compete for substantial playing time at SG on day 1. Makeer will push for playing time at SG as well. Johnson is more of a 3 and McDowell a 3/4.

Looking at current roster considerations, SC is the best for early playing time.. which is rarely ever the case. Not since Zia Cooke have we relied heavily on a freshman at two guard.

I truthfully don’t see her starting (at least early on) at any of her finalists.

Transfers aside, I’d imagine the projected 26-27 starters for SC are Maddy, Tessa, Chloe/Agot, Joyce and Ashlyn (which would be scary). UConn should be KK, Ashlynn, Blanca, Sarah and Jana/Ice. LSU with Jada, Milaysia, Mikaylah, Grace and Kate.

Side Note—Really intriguing the amount of top players in Texas leaving the state.
