Anyone know who we have games with for the non conference schedule this year? I know we host Kansas but after that I don't know.

The just beat Illinois in Indy which is roughly the same distance to Chicago
Didn’t say we wouldn’t win just that it’s the toughest. I think we beat all those teams setting ourselves up for another top seed

I know a lot of people are gonna disagree but it’s true. They are slowly ruining the MSG games by playing too many
Sounds like the too big for Notre Dame argument. Maybe we can get a politician to repeat past mistakes.

Considering the East regional is at MSG next year, do not expect a ton of MSG games in the OOC
How many games can a team play at a venue before they can't play in the NCAA Tournament there? I'm assuming the away St. John's game and the BET games don't count toward the NCAA Tournament maximum games at a venue?

No more than 3 where they are considered the home team. If it is a neutral site game I don’t think it counts towards the total

A regular Duke series would be soooo sick. And especially after this elite 8 game, both programs would rake it in so I feel like that one’s bound to happen next season.

Not sure if it's a firm rule but I remember Villanova only schedules 3 games at the Wells Fargo Center when the NCAA hosts the regionals there. Not sure if its different with a true neutral arena like MSG

Why wouldnt Duke do a home and home series. They have the better home court advantage.

According to the NCAA website:

A team cannot play at a venue where it has played more than three games that season (excluding exhibitions and conference tournaments).

I guess the away St. John's game counts towards those 3. So UConn could play 2 other games there. Which is a normal year. I expect they'll play one in Boston since Hurley said he wanted to again and the game against BYU was very well attended.

It is a firm rule. Hence why Sampson had Houston not play at the Toyota Center last season and they wound up in the South regional.

MSG can be a regional but St Johns cannot play there much and neither can we.

I don’t think any of our games at MSG are home. They are neutral or road games

Why wouldn't we?

Yes, UConn can. BET doesn’t count. 1 away game vs SJU and 1-2 non-conference games and we’re good. Villanova did that one year when Philly was hosting some rounds, I forget which.
