Never would have guessed we could pull in an OL recruit like this one....looks to have 3 years of eligibility. I'm sure he has come here expecting to play the next 24+ games as a starter....awesome.

We got the guy from Alabama through the portal (Shor), but I don’t remember him playing. We’re losing 2 good tackles, so we have playing time now. Hoping for a great one!

Shor left after this past spring ball and ended up in Akron.

Shor was a pretty unfortunate situation. Didn't get to play his senior year due to injury, lost his brother, got to Bama and they basically told him after seeing him work out a few times that he's gotta go (this is info from Alabama boards back in 2022). Came here and never really saw the field besides special teams. He was a starter for Akron for the first half of the year and then he became a rotational guy after that once midweek MACtion started.

Chan was also mainly a special teams guy at Notre Dame, but seeing the field on offense there is super hard, so I trust that his practice film was plenty good if they were developing him as they do their other guys.

I think pedigree here is quite a bit higher, Shor had some issues and wasnt really even on the dept chart at bama, this guy was listed as a backup on gamedays and got in the games (mostly on special teams i believe) but still just getting on the field is a big step up from basically being a walk on
