Isn't 50% the actual cut off point to be eligible for a ball game?
I guess I see what you mean.
50% chance at 6 wins is more precise I guess.

UConn is 1-2 and must go 5-4 (55.6%) the rest of the way to be bowl eligible. I don't know what the current odds are against the rest of the schedule but if I were a gambling man, I think 50% of winning 5 games is very optimistic.I guess I see what you mean.

9-3 overall.
2-2 against 'cuse, BCU, AFA and dook.
With so much roster turnover not just for UConn but for each of the opponents, I have no idea how this will all work out.
But, I think there has been a talent upgrade in the locker room and I am comfortable with the stability of the coaching staff and the OC and DC.
I meant that as of today, I think the odds of making a bowl game are less than 50% but I'm hope I'm wrong. You said you think our chances are 50%. That could be right, but given our last 2 games, I think 5-4 the rest of the way is a tough nut. If we look shaky against Balls State, then we are in big troubleWe went 1-2 and haven’t hit the hard part of the schedule.
Do you mean you’re optimistic that we will go 5-4?
Why not? We lost 2 games in OT. Delaware for all we know could be a freak loss and the defense doesn’t look nearly as bad. The hardest part of our schedule are teams that could beat us but we can also beat.We went 1-2 and haven’t hit the hard part of the schedule.

Honestly if UConn D can just show a pulse, the O may be able to get us over the line this year, assuming backup RBs step up. I will let JM and Brock do their thing before panicking some more.
That said, a ball state loss will probably mean I’m out for the year, not gonna reserve saturdays anymore for this team.
A win will not give me much confidence for the year, but it’s a win. One down, more to go.
A Ball State loss would be demoralizing for me and the rest of the fan base that just wants a glass of water, not even an oasis, after being in the desert of football ineptitude for last 10+years. If they do lose to Ball State, at home nonetheless, I will watch the games for the rest of the year, but it won't be with my undivided attention.Honestly if UConn D can just show a pulse, the O may be able to get us over the line this year, assuming backup RBs step up. hope so. : /The defense dominated Cuse for 3/4 of the game and then bottomed out against Delaware. You'd have to think at the end of the day the D is somewhere in the middle -- which should be enough to get the job done
