It's now the same price to buy organic free-range eggs from my neighbor as getting generic eggs from the store.

I give my neighbor whatever cash I have in my wallet. Some days I just walk over there and take them when he's out of town for a couple days. Dude has no idea what to do with his chickens. Half the world got chickens during Covid. SOMEONE near you can sell them.

I'm in Pittsburgh. As the old saying goes, we're five years behind the coasts. I guess I'll deal with expensive eggs in 2030.

I've never seen their organic for less than $8.99/dozen even on sale. The regular free range will get as low as $3.99 though. They didn't even have 18 packs in my local grocery stores until a month ago.

The post-milk/bread crowd at Trader Joe’s this morning was divine.

All carts moved at moderate speeds (no sprinters) and plenty of space to browse TJ’s bread/honey themed snacks. $4.29 free range organic eggs.
