For what it’s worth, at 34:00 Graham states that with an 8/9 win regular season, his sources have said the Pinstripe Bowl or a repeat of Fenway would both be a real possibility. Would love either, or any bowl game at all, but especially would love to see the Metro North crowd pack Yankee Stadium for the Pinstripe Bowl against a B10 team.

SI has us in the Independence bowl vs Kansas State. I'll take that

ESPN salute to the veterans bowls vs Coastal Carolina, I'll pass

Pro football Network has us in the Gasparilla bowl vs Memphis, not bad

Times has us in the Myrtle Beach bowl vs James Madison, Eh

College football Network has us in the Boca Raton bowl vs Old Dominion

Just to name a few

Is it possible if we finish strong (9-3 or even 10-2) we can get into the Pinstripe Bowl vs Big Ten?

It would be the perfect fit for the bowl, our fans, and of an opponent. Just like Fenway was last year. A mid level ACC team wouldn't give a damn about the Pinstripe Bowl but thousands would come down on the train to pack the place for it from Connecticut.

Just read this so it answered my question above.

This is the perfect scenario. A strong finish and I pray it happens.

Since we have no automatic bowl tie-ins because of our independent status, it's all up to how many teams are bowl-eligible after the final week of the regular season. We were fortunate enough to not only have vacant bowl bids available to us last year, but got an ideal bowl game in Boston against an ACC team. Hopefully we get a similar deal this year.

Got to keep chopping wood week in and week out. One thing is for certain, any bowl sponsor has to be impressed with the crowd we would bring to either Fenway or Pinstripe. I’d be looking for any excuse possible to fill those seats. Put Rutgers v UConn in Yankee Stadium and you’ve got butts in seats.

Would also love to get Rutgers in the game, but Rutgers has an uphill battle to get bowl eligible. Need 3 wins between @Purdue, @Illinois, v. Maryland, @Ohio State, v. Penn State. So maybe they can squeeze out 6 wins, but I would not bet on it.

While I wouldn't want to play ODU, I wouldn't mind the Boca Bowl. I was living in Palm Beach last year and went to last year's Boca Bowl with my roommate and his girlfriend (she got us free tickets through work.) JMU vs WKU, wasn't a bad game.

Beautiful stadium, had a good atmosphere, and I absolutely love the area having lived about 30-40 minutes north.

I would like this location as well since it’s only 2.5 hours from home. But I should be there for the FAU game in mid-November. I want the most high quality bowl that UConn can get.

Let's all stop, pause for a second, and think how much Mora has improved this program.

UConn has five games remaining this season and we are already discussing WHICH bowl UConn will most likely go to this year.

There are 11 days left in October and we are discussing bowl match ups.

Now back to your normally scheduled programming.

Every year of the Mora era we seem to start off struggling a little then get it rolling as the season goes on. This may be a product of the times with high roster turnover.
Typical of the times is my thought as well. Defense had more turnover so taking longer to get in sync.

If we' go to the Pinstripe Bowl to play a Big10 team I'm not interested in Rutgers (barf). That's a no win situation. A Rutgers win drags us down and a UConn win would draw a "who cares Rutgers stinks" response. I would rather play any other average Big10 team.

That, and typically our schedule is a little more frontloaded, especially with P4 because they try to play their nonconference games then. Obviously there are exceptions (Wake and Cuse last year, BC and Duke this season), but it’s a factor. Our season openers under Mora

22 @ Utah State
23 vs NC State
24 @ Maryland
25 vs CCSU
