Here you go, the latest and greatest. Again few caveats - no assumptions made on red shirt seasons, rankings may have changed after I put the players' info in the grid, and please, let's not get into any lineup projections, speculation, and/or whatnot. As we progress through the upcoming academic year, I'll add verbal commits as they transpire.

Deal? ;)

OMG! My mind is filled with basketball-related endorphins thinking of all the different lineup possibilities (& problems for other teams) that mad professor Geno will cook up in the lab (especially if our injured players have fully recovered)!

Go Huskies!!!

This is one of the best team in UConn history.
Sarah and Azzi both will be in the first team of USA.

Are we allowed to nitpick spelling errors? Because it was "enrollee" when I was going to school. :)
However, thanks for the update

One of the best teams in UConn history on paper. Let's hope they are as good or even better on the court. It will be a challenge for Geno to keep 15 very good players happy. We can debate who the last person on the bench is, but I'm sure even that person is very good.

Again, for the second time, Ayanna is eligible for 27-28. Basketball-wise, 25-26 is her sophomore year.

Not unless she requests a waiver. Students have a five year window to use their 4 years of eligibility. Ayanna has used 3 years (the season just ended was her redshirt sophomore year) and so has 2025-26 and 2026-27 available. Beyond that, the NCAA would have to grant Ayanna a hardship waiver.

One of the reasons I did not put her on as a redshirt for 27-28 is a result of never knowing what the NCAA will do with waiver requests. If I read the litigation with the NCAA, there was talk of getting 5 years to play 4, however I'm not going to dive into that morass of legalese and try to understand it, as who knows if it will be applicable to current students or just anyone going forward. For now, I'm just keeping it showing her a RS year in 26-27. Now that the extra covid year is done with (phew), it's "easier' to do a grid with both looks of - what we have, and what we might have.
