2025-26 New school commitments by Transfers

Always happy any time anyone gets the benefit of experiencing a Stanford undergraduate experience. And she does have more tournament experience than our head coach (in her current role) and all our players combined, so there's that.

FYI, I'm probably going to sit this season out as a Stanford fan. Duke has many of the same attributes and an extremely likeable coach and team, so I may become an adopted fan for a season. And I am a Cal grad too, so there's that. Or maybe UCLA, who knows, we'll see.

Good for her, and I’m thankful we don’t have to play against her since I’ve become very fond of her. I remember when she first visited Vanderbilt, she also visited one of the Florida schools, perhaps Miami. Seems like she wants to soak up some sunshine before she heads back to Europe to play professionally.

What's so odd about it?

Probably should have said surprising. After that tweet saying that she turned down $400k from a Big 12 school last year, and the fact that she visited Maryland... I had no idea that Washington was a school throwing out the big bucks like that.

Myself and State fans are happy that she didn't end up in College Park. Good for the Huskies, perhaps they will give me reason to dig deep in the closet to pull out my UW apparel 😋

If you do decide to become an adopted Duke fan... I've heard that Coach Lawson requires a gift that shows your impeding dedication. Heard she likes pizza with sausage, hamburger, onions and garlic, and deep dish cherry cheesecake. You can just send that to my address, and I'll attempt to deliver it to West Durham

Excellent: I assume she is a graduate transfer. Does anybody know her major if she is not a grad or her anticipated masters if she is?
Undergrad Psychology. No idea on grad plans.

This pairing with Hidalgo should be fun to watch!

I have no idea, but on Washington's 247sports site there is a fan that keeps claiming UW has almost no NIL money for women's hoops, or any of the other women's sports programs.

Whoa, now! If you’re up for grabs, I think Vandy deserves a shot. I would never bargain for food stuffs like Triad. However, if you could see your way clear to make a small monetary donation, I wouldn’t argue with it. I recently had to replace the radiator on my car, and I could use a new mattress. I was thinking of trying one of those purple thingies that come in a box. 🙃

Thanks for posting. St. Rose was on the Irish priority list from the get-go. One reason was I think "Maddie," (as Coach Ivey referred to her on an ND posting), has had several encounters with one Hannah Hidalgo when the two were playing in Jersey in high school.

Looking forward to the two of them working together in their final year of eligibility. Will be fun for a "Saint" to have her first game in Rome.
