Anyone know if there’s a video link to the post CT Ice championship press conference anywhere?

Seems heavily skewed to the western teams. We really are going to have to go on a streak.
With 16 spots, less the auto qualifiers, at large bids are a tough route to go. It is clear you are penalized more for losing to #50 (Vermont) than rewarded for beating #6 (Quinnipiac). Needless to say, you're right - we need a hell of a streak or a HE tournament win to get in.

Cavs is spot on. If this tournament is to continue it needs to be played up in Hartford where the attendance was by far the highest for a final.

Split the difference and 50/50 Bridgeport and Hartford.

The one annoying thing about playing it in Hartford - we give up at least some control of the gate - A Toscano ticket for an away team would be very hard to come by

.-.
Would it be any harder than getting a ticket for a game at SHU or QU. The capacity at Toscano is smaller but not by that much.

I can live with Bridgeport hosting at times too. A neutral host should be an essential part of any future renditions of this tournament à la the Beanpot. Hartford is close to neutral. UConn after all only plays 4 games there, and they might count this tournament as two of them!

Right - that's the point.

Every other participant gets a 1) home game in 2) a controlled ticket.

Having it in Hartford means that everyone who wants to, can come. If we get 100% of the draw AND it outpaces our cost to play there, great. But as that improves, you probably get less of a home crowd. It's a dance.
