No. Please. He’s a grad transfer. High school offer lists at that point in a young man’s career are beyond irrelevant. The only rational way to project how he might help us is to look at what he (or anyone) accomplished in the four years he’s already played college ball.
Are we getting many players with 4 years of playing experience?

I just hope he has speed. LB's killed us last year getting beat to the edges by RB's, failing to cover TE's and WR's in space and not able to get to QB's on blitzes.

Speed, speed, speed are the top three characteristics needed for next year's LB corps.

Not just LB's! I'm sure everyone remembers Trevardo Williams and Tyvon Branch. Williams had legit 100m times coming out of HS, and was less than 200lbs, he grew into a very dynamic DE. Branch was National Scholastic 60m champ, and ended up with a nice career with the Raiders. Their careers exceeded their expectations based on HS stars or evaluations, mainly because of their speed.

He was a RS Freshman in 2022. He’s not a Grad Transfer. But, not sure about 2023

Class of 2020. He’s listed as a Grad Student:

Mora & Co are getting a ton of transfers past couple of days. Love to see it.
Agreed. Mora has basically said he can't wait for development of hs kids. He wants to win now.

But as we have seen. Transfers with a good Pedigree Don't necessarily make the two deep

Which is a good thing. Mora isn't making playing time promises. Playing time is earned not given

Sounds cliche but it's important for keeping the locker room

Not according to UWK. COVID Red Shirt Played 2 years.

That’s in the OP. Doesn’t mean he couldn’t have completed the course work to graduate in 3+ years and be considered a Grad Transfer.

Gotta do a little bit of both at this point with the portal. Fill in a lot of holes with transfers and recruit in hopes to develop some players behind some of theses transfers so they can step in.

Makes sense. The new portal rules discourages the old model of recruiting guys out of high school that show promise & developing then. It’s too easy for players to bounce to another team after you’ve invested the time / effort to develop them, so it’s probably not worth it.

I'm sure coaches give everyone the same talk about playing time that both implies and doesn't imply that the player could start.

Anytime were getting more developed division 1 level size kids is good. We have too many FCS level bodies
