No. Committed players are usually advised to continue to advertise themselves "just in case" because you never know when a school can switch up on you. Don't wanna be left with 0 options in November if for some reason your offer is pulled and you have nothing on signing day.
Maybe he slides into Buckman's role next year. I'd like to know where the highly acclaimed WRs from camp in this year's camp are - we haven't seen one of them yet, and heavens knows we need a WR that can get some separation.
At this point we need to hope we are bringing in some people who can contribute immediately.

I hope your assessment is wrong (hope you feel that way too)... simply because the HOPE is our team will gel after the hiccups this year.... We don't need another mass exodus type situation.... Players have to learn how to play and produce with the players they still have eligibility to play with... We're not one of those P5 programs, nor any G5 programs that play in a conference... Gotta gel.. As tough as it is now, things should (better) look better next year (on offense)...
That's a lot to ask of any true freshman. Last year was a bit of an anomaly with 3 freshman Joly, Rosa, and Z Turner all playing big roles, but it was due in large part to injuries at those particular positions.
UConn's 2024 recruiting class ranking jumped up to 83rd overall on 247 with all 12 current committed players now having grades/ratings.
For comparison, the 2023 class had 2 rated players. What that says about either 247 or the players is for you to decide, but it's a good sign
