They all have "Saint", "San", "Santa", "St.", or something related in their name.

Shouldn't the San Francisco Dons be in there somewhere? Or UC- Santa Barbara?

If you're really being discerning you'd exclude all of the schools where the "Saint" is merely a place name rather than the name of the institution.

The original criterion for inclusion was D1 and having Saint in their name but I am open to discussing changes with the Vatican.

D1 and a parochial school would be more consistent.

You either go any variation of "saint" in the name, or you go schools named after a saint. Some grey area is inevitable. Is the University of Saint Louis named after the city or saint? And what to do with Siena?

Villanova , Boston College, Providence and a slew more should be included. So should San Diego State.
