This is very sad for Ashlyn and SC, but also for fans everywhere. I was really hoping to see SC take UCLA down at some point this year. Now that looks a bit steeper of an upset.

Sad to see this.

Fortunate for SC, they have lots of depth Kitts, Feagan start then Edwards, freshman star, and Dauda, transfer from ARK available on bench.

Still Watkins was a force.

She didn’t start or score a ton. But she was the anchor of the frontcourt.

Bri McDaniel knee injury didn’t look good…there’s video on ESPN if you can stomach it.

Shyanne Sellers left the Maryland game yesterday with an apparent knee injury. No way the basketball gods can be that cruel.

Texas’s Aaliyah Moore out for an unknown amount of time with a knee injury. She had an ACL a couple of years ago, not sure if it’s the same knee. Hope she recovers quickly. Laila Phelia is also out for the season too as noted on a different thread. Fortunately for Texas they have quality depth but both are blows to the team regardless.

Oh dear. Like you said, I hope this isn't a long term recovery.

Fauntleroy has not had an easy road of it since she decided to depart Georgetown what seems like ages ago.
First, she went to Oklahoma State and being a Cowgirl wasn't everything she wanted to, so off to Arizona State. Maybe she knew Coach Adair from her days at Temple? Started about half the games, but no lighting the house on fire. But now this injury.
Best of luck. Hope the journey gets smoother at some point.

(BTW, in looking at the roster page: only two of ASU's players were recruited through the high school route -- all the others are transfers.)
