2023-24 Media Day

We’ll be getting a lot of content over the next few days with Media Day, so I’ve decided to start a thread!

Big East media day? Not sure. The team’s media day was today.

I can't believe that for the 4th season in a row, we're wearing those uniforms. Nike needs to step this up. The design is boring and tired....not to mention the fact that we've had horrendous luck in them.

Ok, but WHEN is Media day?

Big East Media day is Oct 24 at the Garden

I'm sure there will be a day before the season starts when local media can meet with all the players.

No members of the media (i.e., reporters) were present with the team yesterday which was about photographs and videos.

Why I’m not surprised that KK dances for media day pics? I just love her energy!!

The Great Pyramid looks very good in her uniform, wearing Phee's old number. I hope she learns a lot this season and rehabs quickly and thoroughly.

Is Jana not wearing the boot anymore, or did they just put her in Nike shoes for the photo shoot?

They may have just taken it off for the photo shoot. If you notice, she's not putting any weight on the injured leg (the left one) and she is leaning heavily on her teammates on either side of her.

Exactly! Think about this for a second. The first four (Paige, Nika, Aubrey & Aaliyah) would be enough talent alone for a Final Four team. Then, add Azzi & Caroline to the mix, offense personified. Next, incorporate 3 highly gifted and athletic freshmen to the recipe and the cup runneth over. Finally, not forgotten is 3 returning players, seasoned and ready to contribute. Add it all up, this team may have the most basketball talent, top from bottom in the country.

So excited to see it play out.
