This could make an early start time problematic. So, on SAT March 12th NESN has
1:00pm - 6:30pm as “To be Announced”
Bruins play yotes in Boston @ 7pm on SAT.
NESN+ has women’s championship hockey and college b-ball during those times.
We gonna get 3:05 again?
1:05 start?
I believe!I want to see UConn get to the Frozen 4. I'd love to see that!! Go Huskies...
Especially on the heels of the St Pattys day parade.430 sucks
For tickets?? UConn contacted season tickets holders to see if they wanted their seats for the playoffs if we were hosting. Not sure about the general public tickets. I haven’t seen any code offers yet.is a purchase code needed?
No, I haven’t either but the tickets are populated in my ‘my tickets’ section in the website. I can’t click on them, and I haven’t paid anything yet. Not sure what that meansI’m a season ticket holder and I have not been notified by UConn about keeping my seats for the playoff game. Am i the only one?
Since the games are 4:30 It looks like the league might have had a hand in scheduling. But the other thing is that this is a separate sport. Hockey East and the NCAA aren’t scheduling around basketball. There is certainly a chance that if we beat BU we’ll have a conflict next week with the NCAA basketball tourney.if the men make the big east championship, that game starts at 630 I believe.
So there is overlap
No email for meI’m a season ticket holder and I have not been notified by UConn about keeping my seats for the playoff game. Am i the only one?
Right my point was if UConn asked HE to make the game at 3 to avoid an overlap would the league have an issue as long as BU is OK with it?Since the games are 4:30 It looks like the league might have had a hand in scheduling. I saw the same thing so I called UConn - they said my seats were reserved but I still had to pay. Why they didn't tell me this via email, I have no idea, but I went ahead and paid over the phone. $20/ticket in my section (104) plus a ticket fee.I’m a season ticket holder and I have not been notified by UConn about keeping my seats for the playoff game. If the men make the BE finals, this will be a good problem to have. I’ll just DVR the game and avoid all mention of a score. The parade goes on rain or shine and bad weather is never a problem for the devotees.Right my point was if UConn asked HE to make the game at 3 to avoid an overlap would the league have an issue as long as BU is OK with it?
This game isn’t being televised so there is no input coming from NESN.
Of course it’s possible UConn never asked or that the parade caused an issue. If so I hope it pours.
As it stands, if the mens team makes the BE championship (no easy task but certainly possible), then people going to the hockey game will miss the first half of the Hoops game. Whereas if the game was at 3 or even 330, this would not be an issue.
I received an email…it seems that they have to fix this issue, as they were quite sporadic apparently.I saw the same thing so I called UConn - they said my seats were reserved but I still had to pay.
