He seems to fit in as the tall WR now that Hairston has moved on.

-> “Honestly, UConn was the best fit for me. It was a great feel. I’m a big fan of Coach Mora,” said Fitzgerald. “I believed in his vision for the program from our first phone call.”

The football team was also a great choice for Fitzgerald due to the previous chemistry he had developed with some of the staff. Both wide receiver coach/pass game coordinator John Allen and UConn director of player personnel Michael Zyskowski previously served at Old Dominion.

Fitzgerald is a player who is very passionate about the game itself and stated that he’ll be looking most forward to creating bonds with his new brothers this season. In preparation for the 2022 season, he will be training with former Huskies wide receiver Geremy Davis in Arizona during the offseason. <-

Excellent. Age, maturity and experience will help this team.

No let’s see some OL and DL from the portal.

Let's Go Huskies!

He's got 2 inches on Larry, that's a good sign!
