Yes, I did not know that either until this year. One of my students is going to go that route.And if he’s bored in the off-season, maybe he can join the hoops team!
I had never heard of Oxford College of Emory. Looks like it’s technically a Juno that then feeds into Emory. Interesting.
Oxford's a small 2-year liberal arts college on Emory's original campus roughly 40 miles east of the current campus. IIRC, Oxford students graduating with a 2.0 GPA obtain an Associate Degree and are automatically eligible to enroll at Emory. Kind of similar to many UConn branch students traditionally completing 2 years of credits, then moving on to finish in Storrs.
