Glad they finally got Karaban’s hometown right. They kept saying Northborough throughout his recruitment and I kept wondering if his parents moved.

I thought that was a little weird too. Although I wouldn't be surprised if he was back at 240 by the season (or anyone else too). A lot easier to add muscle in the offseason before practice but hard to keep that on

Makes me wonder if he was always closer to 250. I saw all the bigs up close sans Donovan a couple months ago, and I woulda guessed Sanogo had a minimum of 20 pounds on the next heaviest guy there. Now seeing Richie listed at 235 makes me think Sanogo is clearing 250, cause he was the second most built guy there. And fwiw I didn’t think Sanogo looked out of shape, he’s just built massively.

FWIW, i think we all assume the listed heights are doctored a bit...but logically, so are everyone else's.
So our 6'8"s might be 6'6.25", but so are theirs.

With that in mind, there's no good reason not to believe the heights listed, until we see otherwise in a particular matchup, or during the measurement portion of the NBA combine.

If everyone can get away with a third step, then a traveling violation is 4. It only matters if only 1 team is called for 3 step travelling, and the other isn't.

I'll help out for those trying to make their case in this thread.


1. I only like Player ______ putting on weight if it makes him stronger without sacrificing quickness and hops.
2. Player __________ lost too much weight. Not sure if he can play strong all season after dropping ___ pounds.
3. Players don't have to be huge to be effective and great. Look at Kevin Durant. He couldn't even do one bench press at ___ pounds coming out of Texas.
4. Good to see these players putting on weight. We looked like string beans compared to _____ last season.
5. Player ______ needs to be spending time on the practice court shooting jump shots, not spending time in the weight room putting on muscle.

I really want to see how Sanogo plays with 10 extra pounds listed. Maybe it was what he played at last year but extra weight no matter how good it is, wasn't something Sanogo needed to do.

I’ve met Clingan in person. He’s a true 7+ footer for sure. He had to duck his head to make it through the doorway. 7’0” or 7’2”- either way he’s really tall!

Floyd was the other freshman in the class but he transferred. There’s supposed to be a couple preferred walk ons as well but they obviously aren’t listed on the roster yet.
