Fellows in need of therapy, Casuals,
It's nearly time to begin anew. But before we take the ring off like Danny, let's look back at the year that was on the Boneyard.
- It was nearly a year ago when we wondered who our point guard would be. Is it Andre? Could it be Newton? We debated. It turned out to be both.
- 1 year ago today we had our first "double big" debate. Will the tradition continue?
- On November 7th we learned that Samson was out indefinitely taking the air out of the balloon that he had showed well in the secret scrimmage against Virginia. We're hearing that again!
- We fretted over the empty seats against Buffalo on a snowy night in November.
- By Mid November we knew Hawk was gone after the year, and that Donovan Clingan was a special freshman.
- We giddily tracked unbeaten teams on the reddit Map. (we should do that again this year)
- Bill Walton serenaded us with tales of rivers and lakes as we smacked around the PK field. We had UNC circled, but then they circled the drain.
- We fell in love with Joey.
- We smacked the Tide, and allowed ourselves to dream big.
- We took some time out to express concern over @8893 who had gone MIA.
- A week into December we were wondering how long we would have Cling Kong, racking up a pair of OOC wins against Florida and Oklahoma State.
- Chief gave us all an opportunity to meet Andre Jackson over dinner, surprisingly not at Blaze pizza.
- We reached KenPom#1!
- We debated the double big.
- Georgetown gave us a scare but Joey dipped into his bag of tricks and made it all right. We did not yet know that 'Town was the canary in the coal mine.
- We got past Nova, the wheels wobbled some more.
- The calendar turned to 2023. Xavier, Providence, "We are flawed!"
- We debated the double big.
- We took out our frustration on Donny Marshall.
- We took out our frustrations on the refs. (we did get a crap whistle to start big east play).
- We melted down after Marquette.
- Bama's Darius Miles was charged with Murder.
- We retreated into a shelter of a thread called "Please post positive stuff here"
- St. Johns and Seton Hall
- We lost a tough one at home to X.
- We wondered what Andre would look like under Calhoun.
- We hoped we could sneak into a bye for the BET.
- We got on a roll, so we turned to the XL/Gampel debate for a bit.
- Joey got DNP'd CD.
- $2 Miller Lights had us all feeling good. Ed Cooley stoked the mojo fires by telling us "That's what Friar's Do" Thanks Ed!
- We started to get optimistic about seed again.
- We beat an improving Nova and made our plans for NY.
- Jimmy B and Patrick Ewing got canned on back to back days.
- We trashed talked like champions in MSG for 30 minutes of gametime and sat low in our seats for the last 10 against Providence.
- AJ got in foul trouble, we missed 4 open looks late. Tyler Kolek said "F 'em again" and Joplin wished us well back to our "2nd home" (Let's remember this).
- We thought we'd get a 3 seed, we got a 4. We didn't like our draw.
- We wondered if Iona was a "must win" game for Danny.
- Ed left Providence in the dust after telling us what Friar's do.
- Bill Murray
- Iona Scared us, Pitino said we had the goods.
- St. Mary's scared us, then their best player got hurt.
- Arkansas came at UConn twitter. Musselman kept is shirt on.
- Mark Few didn't guard Andre, AJ gave us "the jeter play"
- We wondered if we would get a recruiting boost!
- We got Jonathan to Houston
- Jordan got a stomach bug.
- It didn't matter against the canes.
- #5.
- Tristen Newton is now a Point God. (please see #1).
- We basked in the glow.
- Nick Timberlake Didn't like his steak.
- Goodbye Hawk.
- Goodbye Adama.
- Goodbye Dream.
- Andre Tests the Waters.
- Goodbye (don't sleep on) Springs.
- Timberlake to Kansas.
- Newton throws his name in.
- Cooper Flagg Offered (April 24th)
- Big 12 Nonsense
- Newton comes Back!
- Goodbye Andre Jackson Jr.
- Welcome Cam Spencer.
- Goodbye Gampel Original Floor
