Before the bunt I would’ve thrown up and in. You have to make him uncomfortable.

And we lost the 3 runs we made up on the Crawford HR. Even more now.

They have all the energy, their dugout never shuts up, even the announcers are loopy & giddy.

Just not our weekend. If it wasn't UConn it would be laughable.

He is really good at it. Never seen such well placed bunts.
Fine, but you know he’s going to do it. Have brown in and just bust him in up and in with hard stuff. Hell, put one in his ribs. You can’t let a guy just calmly put one down the 3b line 4 times.

I expected Caleb to shut them down.
I really believe it would be best for him to come back next year as a starter. Think that gives him the best opportunity to be drafted high. He just doesn't have the high velocity pitch which most top relievers have these days.

That was the idea when in the fall and the preseason when there was talk by the coaching staff of making Wurster a starter. MLB scouts really look for the velocity, especially from bullpen guys, and that could push Wurster down the draft list.

Makes sense if the can get Marrero primed…

I agree. We’ve had a decent stretch of closers getting drafted (Ruotolo, Russell, Wallace), but they all threw in the mid-90s.
