Great starters but depth will be a problem. If you can get them in foul trouble, you have a chance with them.
Yeah, I'm curious about that as well.

Also curious to see how Kiandra Browne develops this season. Was happy to see her get the minutes she did as a freshman.

In addition to Browne, I would expect sophomore Chloe Moore-McNeil to have made a jump since last year. I also believe Keyarah Berry was underrecruited and could make an impact. Berry seems like the type of athletic, defensive-oriented player who could thrive at IU.

All this is going according to form so far (the last few anyway) I guess we’ll see how the top 3 shake out. And “shake out” is pretty accurate… put them in a dice cup and see how it comes up.

I wouldn't call South Carolina at #3 a big shock. That's where I have them. I think UConn is better, and from my point of view, Stanford is the champ and is bringing back most of their roster, so they're #1 till someone proves otherwise.

I think South Carolina would have won more meetings than not with UConn last year but I agree with the idea that Stanford might as well start at #1.

I have no idea how to rank the teams this year so let's just start where they finished.

I think Stanford was easily the best team last year from start to finish and I believe they have good depth and balance and lots of upside with Haley Jones and Brink. Haley Jones is the kind of difficult matchup playmaker that can win games.

South Carolina was a bit short handed at end of the season but had no one to match up great with her aside from Beal who Stanford was able to force onto other defenders.

UConn was really one dimensional scoring wise and I think was pretty average at several spots in their lineup.

How Stanford copes with losing Williams and how much depth and scoring the other two add will tell the tale.

Of course there are 4-6 other teams that could knock off all three in my view.
