The Gamecocks play 2, 3, 4 and 5 and will likely play UCONN 2 or 3 times. That will be fun.

You might add #10 Oregon to SC schedule in the second game of Battle For Paradise. SC opens with Buffalo and likely then plays winner of Oklahoma- Oregon. Ducks will need to get by a pretty good Sooner team to set up SC-ORE matchup.

It would be a fowl battle!

This is odd

“Because the UConn women already have contracts in place to visit Oregon and South Carolina next season, they will not play either school in the Bahamas.”

Where did you get that quote from? It appears to be inaccurate but I'm no expert.

at the time the event was announced many assumed it was a round robin events, in which case uconn would have been in a separate division. Since neither the SC or Oregon matchup is guaranteed it's ok.

It's not true, however.

When I see the preseason Top 25, every year, I think realistically, nobody will win the title outside of the top 3 or 4.... When is the last time anyone outside of the top teams has won a title....

A&M in 2011? A top 10 team for sure but Baylor, Uconn, Stanford, Tennessee were the favorites.
