Thought of Butler many times over the years as I read about our various DB recruits. He ran a 4.28 or 4.29 in the 40 as I recall and no recruits have had anywhere near that speed since Edsall left. So fast Edsall even used him on offense on a number of occasions.
As we all know, the Coordinator of the Year stressed getting BIG GUYS no matter how slow they were. Is it any wonder why the defense has been so bad while the Edsall 2.0 transition works its way out of that mess?
