No UConn (not surprising)

So we can plan that 2021-22 Kansas/UConn game at Gampel then? I just don't see Kansas returning a home game to Creighton, but I could be wrong.

Maybe if Kansas has a game planned in the NYC area.

Rutty was 20-11 and 11-9 in conference. They are a decent team, coached by a UConn MBB alum (2 including Hobbs) and are a driveable road game. What's not to like?
I know they were good last year. Just not the 1-2-3-4-5th team I think of that I want to play from the BiG10

Certainly Kansas will not return a home game after even a weakened Creighton team beats them.

Rutgers/UConn would definitely have some juice to it. I would not be upset at all if we played Rutgers at any point in the next couple years. It seems like Steve has things going in the right direction, so that would be a quality opponent and would help our SOS.

Let’s hope we play winter sports... I’ll take empty areas I don’t care personally

Debatable. Bouknight, Jackson, and Cole will be SPECIAL
Yea I hope so too but just relaying what is reflected in most of the early top 25 rankings. Seems like Rutgers is in the 20-25 range for all of them and were typically one of the first teams to miss the cut.

No 100% agree, Rutgers will be a formidable opponent for anyone next season. I think we’ll either be right with them or a little better. I’m super high on our trio. And if a couple of guys really develop and surprise(Gaffney, Springs, Carlton, Adams, Martin) and Whaley can replicate his end of the season performance we could be in for a special season next year. Now if we add Sanogo......I’m beyond giddy

I'd like to see a game against (don't laugh) Iona. They've been a tourney team for the last few years, near the top of their league and now have Patino paying for talent. Not a far ride either.

This is strange. You’d think they would want to showcase us as much as possible and have us in both challenges.

Yes they will be. In that trio we have: A true PG who can shoot, drive, and distribute. An elite 3 level scorer. And a hard-nosed defender who will be a joy in transition.
