2020-21 Roster on Uconn site

Carlton down 20 pounds is good news. Looks like Akok and Whaley put on some weight too which is nice to see as well.

Really looking forward to having some depth again!

Gaffney 6'3 185 = +10lbs ?
Bouk 6'5 190 = +15lbs?
Martin 6'6 215 = +10lbs?
Akok 6'9 210 = +17lbs
Polley 6'9 215 = ?
Springs 6'9 225 = ?
Sanogo 6'9 245 = -15lbs
Jackson 6'6 205 = +20 or more (
Javonte 7'0 240 = ?
Carlton 6'11 240 = -25lbs

These guys have been WORKING in quarantine. Jackson was 175 a year ago in AAU. Him at 205 is the most versatile player in the NBE. Can play and guard 1-4, even guard the 5 in a pinch. Insane.

Javonte drop the Ferguson in Brown-Ferguson? Also, let’s get some pics up of the new guys!

Is that Dan Hurley's son, Andrew Hurley, on the roster? I didn't see this mentioned before.

Can’t tell if this is sarcastic or not. But yes, it’s been mentioned and he’ll be on the squad.

I must of missed that. Thanks for the confirmation. I wonder if he can shoot the ball like his dad? Ok he looks like he had a quick release and decent outside shot.

All good. There was a thread on it. Think he was a solid player for East Catholic but don’t think the expectation will be that he contributes much to the team necessarily. Should be a good practice body.

Some of those heights are pretty funny.

if averaging 8pts p/g, 37% from the floor, 29% from the three and 72% free throws is shooting the ball well (Dan Hurley's stats at Seton Hall) then there are much better walk-ons out there
But it's Dan Hurley's choice and I have no issue with it at all
With the roster as is, he will probably seldom see the floor during games- I am hoping he will be a productive player

Are you actually complaining about the walk on? Lighten up...

Did his statistics improve after George helped him turn his life around? What were they his junior and senior years?

Matt Garry lost 3 pounds by taking off the boot.

Besides a couple players, guys did a poor job of getting taller in the off-season. No wonder why Sal was fired.

Proper height training has been a concern of UKemba’s for quite some time, but casual fans continue to insist that people just “get taller” as if by magic...

The fascination some of you have with the height and weight of minors and young men is odd... at best.

Not nearly as fascinated as coaching staffs and NBA scouts are...

So being a message board poster is similar to being a coach/ NBA scout incredible. Come for opinions, leave thinking about the bodies of young boys.

Danny Hurley scored 1000+ points in the Big East. We wouldn't take this as a walk on? LOL
