2019 WNBA Draft

Kalani Brown to LA? Plenty of size there already. Is this trade bait? Last year's pick from Russia didn't play a lot but had moments where she looked good. Maybe Lavender won't be back with them.
So much for LA trading for Cambage...

Another Sun pick that responded like she was just given a shorter jail sentence than she expected.

And I thought Lexie looked underwhelmed when the Sun selected her last year. Anigwe's whole table looked like they were being brave saying goodbye at the jailhouse door.

Look out for some interesting trades...where's Trader Bill?

Stewie has someone she can help the team get better.

I look at it as they are good enough now that they don't need her right away. Don't forget how good Natasha Howard was last year for them.

What's the deal with nobody wanting to be drafted by Connecticut?

Actually, this pick still keeps the door open. I think Dallas was attempting to still get equal value for Cambage. That was and still will not happen. Unless they plan on tanking the longer they wait the more likely they will be to accept a realistic deal.

A 20-something young woman looking at Chicago, New York, LA, Atlanta, Vegas, Phoenix, etc. ends up summering in Uncasville, CT. Whoopie!

For those who are trying to "build a brand", it's tougher to do in rural Connecticut. Chiney is an exception in that regard thanks to ESPN in Bristol.
