I haven’t seen much film, I kinda expect Ardell to fill in just like Buss’s 2018 season. Yeah, maybe a bit more - if we have a qb that is a throw first qb.

Watch his film of career highlights ...

Loved Buss. But, this kid has another factor.

My thought is that if he's really 5-11, 180, he's not coming to UConn.
He was listed at 5’10”” 170 LBs as a redshirt freshman and 5’10” 180 LBs as a redshirt junior on the Seton Hill roster. He could be a little smaller, but he has been in college for 4 years, so I would assume he has developed.

5-10, 165. He better be fast. Good luck to the young man.

do you pull these out of your butt?

I don't know anything about Seton Hill University - though I recognize some of their opponents from a schedule. IF ... that HC at Seton Hill puts him at 170 - 175 -180 over three years … I don't know why you feel the need to be dismissive.

5'11" throughout.

Seton Hill 'plays in the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference in the Western Division with Slippery Rock, IUP, California, Clarion, Gannon & Edinboro. The PSAC is a really good D2 conference in all sports. IUP, the Rock & California typically get a number of D1 transfers every year.

If I recall correctly, Cody Endres ended up at Slippery Rock and maybe Robbie Frey?

I don’t know if that’s 4.38 speed but I like what I see. Should help in the return game and I can envision him making an impact on screens and fly sweeps. Nice weapon.

A 4.38 guy usually looks faster on film. I would expect almost shocking break away speed against a D2 team. He did definitely get himself some breathing room though, so maybe he is that fast. I sure hope so.

Generally, there is speed at all levels of football. Usually, the kids that are small, but fast in high school, don’t get FBS football scholarships. (That is how UConn got Larry Taylor.). The big difference between FBS and lower leagues is the size, strength, athleticism, and speed of the linemen and LBs, but you can find some fast DBs and WRs that we’re undersized coming out of HS.

At my local high school, there is a football player with elite speed, but he didn’t get any FBS football interest due to his size. He’ll run track in college.

You do realize they run without pads on?? Just curious

Do you know what fast looks like in an AAC football game?

You’ve been a fan for a long time. Why don’t you think you and the school deserve a coaching staff that can recruit well enough to compete with Tulsa and Temple and Tulane?

The best way to find football speed is video tape. Watch a guy run ten yards on the field. The tape moves at 30 frames per second. How many frames does it take the player to go ten yards. Not the best way to measure acceleration but it gives a true indication of football top end speed.

4.38 would place him 3rd at the combine for WRs.
