2017 UConn Commit Dillon Harris who headed to Lackawanna JUCO confirms to Rivals that he remains committed to UConn for 2019 (December 2018 Grad)

Harris is a 6-1 225 Linebacker from Bloomfield who went to Cheshire Academy then up to Lackawanna. When he committed to UConn originally he had offers from Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Rutgers, Syracuse, Temple, Villanova, and BC.

Great news! If he's ready could plug right into a spot on a maturing defense. Exactly what the Doctor ordered. Hope he likes the Block C. It stands for CONTACT!

Makes sense to circle back around to this kid. He'll be physically and mentally ahead of a lot of the younger players that he'll be competing with for time. He'll probably be in the two deep the second he steps on campus.

Him and Beavers at both OLB spots would be nice. Now just need a solid MLB to go with them. Is Kevon Jones coming to Storrs to play MLB?

Great news! Seems we have some ins with Lackawanna and I "hear" those Chesire Academy boys are top notch. I say "hear" because back when I lived in the state Chesire High School was a powerhouse and I didn't hear much about Chesire Academy. Of course the little school I was supporting probably would have never played Chesire Academy but it is what it is.

I wonder if theres any chance he gets here over summer
I'm pretty sure he went to CC because of grades and/or credit issues. He would have had to load up on classes in spring/winter/fall and this summer in order to get here for the next semester

Hmmm....I am hoping that "locked in" means he has gotten over the academic hump to qualify for UConn. We sure could use another LB.
