terrence clark is great and all (according to 247 uconn made him an offer) but the backcourt is already miles ahead of the frontcourt going into next year.

even with a 3 guard lineup there's gonna be tough competition for minutes between gilbert, gaffney, bouknight, vital, adams and wilson.

akok/mitchell/cockburn/wahab need to be a higher priority.

Clarke is the #1 recruit in the class of 2021.

He will likely be a 6'9" SF by that time.

rivals has precious listed at 6'9 215 and espn at 6'8 210 so he's already bigger than polley, yawke and whaley. precious could easily play stretch 4 for us. think jimmy butler at marquette- a 4 in college and a 2 in the nba.

either way you're still burying Brendan Adams on the bench by adding another guard to the rotation, which aint cool for hurley's first recruit...

having said that, i'll welcome any 5 star with open arms. sorry brendan!

but my main point was that i'd rather get a 5 star big than a 5 star guard.

Terrence Clarke is a sophomore and the best sophomore in the country, he's most likely going straight to the NBA when that time comes. Wilson is a small forward, playing time isn't a concern for players like Clarke no matter where they go.
