Anyone buying tickets? They just resent the eblast for our pre-sale opportunity to UConn season ticket holders. I don't understand these prices, how many games am I gettng? 4 on thursday and 2 on saturday? But with no re-entry and no adult beverages, right?

Prices are $300 for the best seats, $270 for the second level and $240 for the top of the second level.

Those prices are for all 6 games. The Thursday games are 2 separate tickets. One for 2 afternoon games and then one for 2 games in the evening. The Saturday 2 games are then another ticket.

I got the preae email as well. For 6 games that’s not a terrible price. What was the word from the other thread? These are usually the cheapest they’ll get.

So we should schedule a majority of our games at gampel so we can play there, right?

Unfortunately teams aren't eligible to play at a site where you’re the host, so we’re ineligible to play in Hartford.

So we'll end up with Buffalo, Syracuse, Nova, Providence and Seton Hall.....and St Bonny and Iona....maybe the Ivy winner too. Everyone but us!

and the best seats are lower endzone. all lower baseline saved for the teams, sponsors, etc.

What were you expecting?

idk - never been in position to buy ahead on something like this - so i had no real expectations frankly

IMHO secondary market most definitely the way to go for these

I bought four tickets and will def use two. May sell the other two but we shall see

Hmmmmmmm. So UNC didn’t lose in a North Carolina venue yesterday?(33-2 I think, cuz that’s fair)

.-.
UNC wasn’t the “host” school. Uconn could play in CT if the game was at Mohegan or Bridgeport and was hosted by say Fairfield or Central, but seeing the XL is one of their home courts they will be the host
Gotcha. Being in Carolina just wanted to complain anyway.

Going to try to catch at least two games. Gotta fill those stands, boys and girls.

Anyone know if there are opportunities for students to get tickets at cheaper prices? I'm pumped that the tourney is coming to Hartford, but at the same time, as a broke college kid, I don't have $240 or even $100 to just drop on some tickets. I'm assuming not, but you never know.

Do we know what seed matchups Hartford is getting yet?

I don't think those are determined in advance. They wait to see who the 1-4 seeds are and then send them to the sites based on proximity to campus.

.-.
The stands are empty in the afternoon games. Surely good tickets can be had game day for less than $50?

Bingo!!!! We need a ton of UConn fans supporting our XL Center tourney games. It will show the rest of the country we love College athletics. Cant be the laughing stock with terrible attendance.

I just hope they do a better job with the parking for the Friday afternoon games than they did for the Thursday afternoon games in '98.

$15 inc fees in Dallas ty for session 1
Session 2 with 2 locals cheapest was around $100

In typical NCAA fashion, things are confusing. The presale email I got from the NCAA says tickets will be mailed to "the address included in your order" in mid-February 2019. When I purchased them, the only "delivery method" available was "direct connect" which I am assuming means downloadable digital tickets? But then a tag line by the place to enter billing address said "tickets can only be mailed to your billing address." Time to make a phone call I guess...

Omg, I remember that. Nightmare. Although we parked up on Asylum Hill and walked down since Hartford really is so small that walking anywhere from outside the downtown core isn't a big deal.

.-.
It was a mess all the garages and lots were filled with downtown workers. People were parking down The Meadows.

It's a valid complaint.

Of course where you're coming from matters, but thankfully we have Uber/Lyft now.

And the magic busway

/sarcasm.

Really looking forward to this event. I will sell if UConn makes the tourney. Most likely will be the Villanova Invitational next year in Hartford.

what can they do to improve? tell the downtown employees to work at home?
