2019-20 BPI Rankings

interesting from the perspective that G Town who is 56th (one spot below) only has a 27% chance of making the tournament.

AAC vs BE issues?

Maybe autobid is easier in AAC for a 50 team or that UConn has more potential upside that the Hoyas.
I find it funny that UCF is at 51 and Memphis at 134.

something seems off with the tournament percent chance unless its REALLY valuing history of winning the conference tournament or something.

we're #26 with a 61% to make the tournament...

Teams in the top four in preseason BPI have won the national championship in 10 of the past 12 years, with both UConn titles as the exceptions.

Well that's what happens when you ban us....

Yeah I know BPI factors in returning players, etc. What they know to expect from a certain team, so I have to imagine new faces and a new coach would be a knock in the BPI system. Looking at more of the Tourney chances, there a ton that don't seem right. Weird formula.

You have to be happy with this Kobe, a pretty good line for a debut:

they looked pretty good last night for the first game.

the big guys really worry me though.

jaevin cumberland's shot is so pure. kid never looks like he'll miss.

still gonna take a while to get the offense at the correct pace i think. but i can see what brannen wants to run. lots of movement and cutting

Their tournament percentages are a disaster. Vermont has a 100% chance to make the NCAAs according to BPI. As a team with no at-large chances, that seems just a little high.

Nobody has good big guys anymore. You've got three guys on your roster close to 7ft. tall. That's 15 fouls to give. If they shoot anywhere close to that during the season they will be tough to beat. Cumberland has to be looking forward to having other options as it will stop teams from doubling him. They may not win at Osu to open the season, but if i was the coach i'd make life difficult for Wesson on both ends of the court. They've got the bodies to do it.

82% is the odds they're giving #10 Baylor. Maybe they are betting on Hurley's ability to turn them around plus the new comers
