Can't believe nobody started this on the eve of the tournament.

Well the usual, who do you got, what do you expect.

Looking at weather, Carnasty looks like it will be taken advantage of this time around. Golfers going out early on Thursday and late on Friday may get a couple stroke advantage. It looks like winds will be down Thursday morning and picking up later while Friday morning will rainy and windy with conditions being better later. Other than that, weather doesn't look to be a big factor - fortunately that can always change over there.

The odds maker favor Dustin at +1200. Justin Rose, Fowler and Rory are +1600. Spieth, Rahm, Fleetwood, Justin Thomas, Koepka and Woods at +2200. I have no idea how Tiger can be in that group other than that's where money likes to go to die.

My take is that none of those win.

I'm going with Molinari (+3300), Reed (+3500) and Grace (+4000).

Molinari, Stenson and Fowler.

Tiger said fairways are faster than greens.

Dry summer, rock hard ground.

Weather always unpredictable.

Read same thing about Thurs morning / Friday afternoon tee times have better opportunity for decent weather.

I would have preferred them to play in 41 degrees / heavy wind / driving rain like it was when we were there in April :)

Seems like a lovely course this time of year lol.

Scores weren't as low as I thought they'd be considering the fair conditions. They're calling for some rain tomorrow, we'll see what happens.

Rory's looking good!

Super compressed board - 49 within 5 shots, 89 within 7.

And the group between 4 under and 4 over: 127 guys.

Sergio 28-1

DeChambeau 125-1

Shaufflele 150-1

Snedeker 150-1

Ball strikers. Good choices.

Might have been good choices but they didn't perform well:
Sergio +4
DeChambeau +4
Schauffele E
Snedeker +5

I was almost as bad with my choices:
Molinari -1
Reed +4
Grace +3

Moore +15,000
Steele +50,000
Southgate +12,500
Willett +15,000

A few other ball strikers who aren't the longest and can use the running fairways to shorten the course- Charley Hoffman and Zach Johnson.

Both within striking distance and can go fairways and greens all day long.

Saturday early morning groups tearing it up.

Good morning Mr. Rose and your 64.

Can't imagine the course getting easier throughout the day. Even if the weather remains ideal those greens will be longer and more beat up by mid afternoon.

Duffner/Fisher/Reed all scored 75/70/68 to total 213 and are tied at -3. What are the odds of that? Gotta be really remote.
