2017 Recruiting Thread

Wish we had a center and another QB visiting. We need to bring in two HS QBs and a transfer and/or JC QB. Three in total.

Of the OLineman - I really like Van Demark and Homles, I could see both being starters earlier in their careers. Tunstall is more of a project and Hubbard somewhere in between. We need bodies, so take them all.

PS - who is playing OT next year for us?

Johnathan Lovett is a 6-1 194lb RB/SS from Cherokee High School in Marlton NJ. Other offers from Iowa, Maryland, Penn State, BC, Temple, Monmouth, ODU.

Like him at Strong Safety for us. would be a solid pick up imo.

That wasn't necessarily my point - I was thinking decommits. Mehringer was in Herman's "frat"...

Jeffrey Hubbard decommitted from Colorado State on Dec. 5th.


Also, apparently Fabian Kratz has been decommitted from Oregon State since Aug. 30th as he moved back to Germany and will graduate school in 2018.

Ha. Yeah, I know what you mean. Technically, he reclassified so you could put him in the 2018 list if you want.

Malik Burns is teammates with James Tunstall at Lackey HS. Offers from ECU, Toledo, and Kent State (visiting there next month). Not trying to start more beef about who we are/should be recruiting against, but just going off of measurables he seems far more trim than our current pass rushers. Any thoughts?
