We're better than Rice, but the owls are not as bad as their record indicates. Graham is pulling a Bowden and needs to step down...as tough as it would be to leave the powerhouse he built.

Houston is in a bit of turmoil - Romero has lost his starting spot indefinitely due to tram travel policy violations and demoted to the bullpen and the whole rotation is jumbled.

Romero has always been a bit of a headcase. People on Cougfans.com do not seem especially concerned about his demotion...he is a little young for this comparison but he kinda reminds me of DeMarcus Cousins.

Not sure why, but UH kinda sorta feels like a rivalry game. I do not get the sense our teams liked each other last year.

It is probably more of a friendly rivalry. The Hartford coaching staff is composed of guys who either played for or coached under Penders at UConn.

I was happy to see Hartford have a great year last year.

Oops!! My mistake, I seem to have Hartford on the brain.

I agree then about your Houston comment. It seemed to be an emotional series in Storrs last year, right up to the Houston coach getting ejected from the Saturday game, and then wondering where he should go, considering the lack of facilities at JO Christian. That Saturday game was also probably the best game Polonia pitched all last season.
