Looking through the TV windows posted on the mattsarz website -
I don't see anyone with a 1:30 eastern window - so that time for Virginia seems fishy.

Ugh, I hope to all hell (and so should all of you!) that it's not a night game. UConn's hockey team is playing down the street that night at BU so you could go to both.

Unfortunately, the 12/3 game will be in Houston.

That works in our favor too. Houston and Boston are huge markets and I think ESPN would love to go either. Plus I love Corso and would like to see him at a UCONN game before he retires.

Football Releases Kickoff Times and Television Lineup

  • The Thursday, September 1 season-opener vs. Maine at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field will kick off at 7:00 p.m. and be televised by ESPN3.
  • Previously announced was that the Saturday, September 10 game at Navy will kick off at 3:30 p.m. and be televised on CBS Sports Network.
  • The Saturday, September 17 game vs. Virginia at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field will kick off at 1:30 p.m. and be televised on SNY.
  • The Thursday, September 29 game at Houston will kick off at 8:00 p.m. Eastern (7:00 p.m. Central) and be televised on ESPN.
  • The Saturday, October 8 game vs. Cincinnati at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field will kick off at 11:30 a.m. and be televised on CBS Sports Network.
  • The Friday, November 4 game vs. Temple at Pratt & Whitney Stadium at Rentschler Field will kick off at 7:00 p.m. and be televised on ESPN2.

Pretty sure there were non-televised games even in the Edsall era. But there are so many alternate cable network channels now it's hard not to find one televised somewhere.

Had we had a kickoff before noon before? That might be a first at the Rent.
