Went sniffing around and I can't find that any of these guys got an offer post HCDB hire - (doesn't mean it doesn't exist). If anyone has other intel - we'll add them.

Most of the best players have been going to BC and they rank last among all P5 schools in recruiting - why are we trying to get them to come to UConn again - because their friends and family will fill the rent or another reason??

He confirmed it to the kid, whom he's allowed to call. The kid then told Friedman. I hate the upper crust as much as we all do, but nothing scuzzy happened here.

We're looking good with Scooter Harrington. Daniel Dalton a TE from MA has just committed to Boston College. I always get nervous when top CT players gets offered by BC.

Not so sure about that... You realize that Harrington's dad was captain of BC's 1985 team... He's also heading up to BC's Junior Day this weekend.

It's going to be a huge challenge to keep him in State (I didn't say impossible).

why would you say uconn is looking good because another TE committed to BC. You realize he has a number of offers that are far more attractive than uconn should BC tell him there is no room (which wont happen for a number of reasons i.e. his father). I think Harrington is a lock to BC, actually surprised he wasnt the first to commit there. I have also read that BC could potentially look at using him as an OL.

I think he is basing his opinion on the fact that all of those guys have multiple P5 offers along with P5 interest.

Plus their coaches will most likely not be interested in sending kids to the school that axed their butt buddy.
 
Anyone know when our Junior day is? I keep seeing articles about all these guys Addazio brought up this weekend, made me curious when ours is and if we know of any expected attendees yet.
