How do we feel about Quansah? Any real chance to sign him? I remember Wilkins came to UConn for a game last year (BYU?) but it never amounted to anything

Headlining the group will four-star in-state linebacker Koby Quansah, but several other recruits with offers will also be on campus tonight. Wright, 6-foot-2 and 218-pounds, already has a UConn offer, and is one of the more dynamic all-around athletes in the region.

Another important in-state target making the trip to Storrs tonight will be two-star tight end Jay Rose of Southington. Two in-state recruits who have recently received offers from UConn and will be making the visit to Storrs tonight are defensive back Tahj Herring and linebacker Zachary Kastenhuber.

A couple of in-state recruits making the visit tonight who will be looking for offers are tight end Jake Hescock and athlete Tajik Bagley. Both have been receiving steady interest from the coaching staff and offers are definitely a possibility for both. Bagley will also be joined by his Ansonia teammate Tyler Bailey.

As to out-of-state recruits, three making the trip are three-star defensive end Tymir Oliver and athlete Josh Holsopple of Philadelphia (Pa.) West Catholic and defensive end Andre Mintze of Philadelphia (Pa.) Imhotep.

NY LB Elias Reynolds received an offer from #UConn tonight during their Junior Day

Elias is a 6-3 230lb OLB/SS from Brooklyn Poly Prep in Brooklyn NY. Other offers from Buffalo, Wake Forest, Cuse, and Rutgers.

Collins is a 6-5 191lb QB from New Canaan High School in New Canaan CT.

1st Team All-FCIAC, 1st Team CIAC Class L All-State, MSG All-Metro Honorable Mention, Ruden Report All-FCIAC 1st Team, MVP of 2014 Class L State Championship Game, MSG 1st Team All Connecticut, Elected 2015 Team Captain, High Honor Roll Student

I think he would end up be a 2015 Recruit - not 2016? I have to admit I was a bit confused by his Hudl (http://www.hudl.com/athlete/168679/) that lists him as Classs of 2017 - then I figured it must mean college graduation year as opposed to recruit class year?. He graduated HS in 2013.

From an article the last week of February discussing a visit to Colorado State University:

>>Anderson, who does not hold any offers at the moment, will take an official visit to UConn the weekend prior to taking his visit to CSU. He thinks that since each school is taking the time to pay his way out for a visit, offers from each are strong possibilities. "Yeah definitely," he said. "For UConn and Colorado State, I'm the only transfer quarterback that they've talked to. They said that if everything goes good when they meet me and they like me, that they want to see what I'm about, and just see what kind of person I am. That's the final thing that they want to see. That's when I think they'll pull the trigger."

...Anderson will be a junior this fall and will have three years to play two.<<

Yeah, I mentioned that above with Sprague. As you mentioned, the whole deal was confusing with the 2017 in his hudl but he is a JuCo QB. Hopefully, he commits here but he is a Cali guy so that may be tough. Especially with Colorado State as an option.
