I saw on RU's board someone who claims KJ Gray couldnt commit for priority reason's so looks like BC tomorrow unless the commenter is poorly informed?"Not high enough on their board".

Herring is another good sized (6-1 186) corner. Love that he's a CT guy and also received offers from 3 other D1 schools.

I hope we can land at least 4 Olineman in this class, one or two RBs (got to keep the positioned stocked - durability/turnover) and maybe a couple LBs.

Eh, I can do without Archibong. I think we've got a great shot with Jay Rose and more positional versatility which is a benefit. I'm really more concerned with OL than TE at this point. Let's cross our fingers for Niang...

Hello all again.

Through the craziness that is the internet, I now write for the new 247 Rutgers site.

Regarding KJ Gray, it was never split. Crystal ball was 100% BC for him since the first prediction from our staff for him on May 7th.

After dealing with KJ, all I can say is that the schools he didn't pick have dodged a bullet. His coaches were basically begging him to delete his twitter as his mouth pretty much killed his chances with multiple schools that had offered him.

He wasn't even a take for Rutgers at WR (CT product Wright, Canadian Chase Claypool, and NJ Kelvin Harmon are all higher on the board), and that was the reason he decided to reclassify as an athlete and play corner as well. To be honest he really wasn't a take for BC either until then. And even then things were dicey as he didn't receive word that they would take his commitment until the day he committed.

TF on TOS seems to confirm that Coleman does indeed have an offer from this staff so I will add him to list next go around.

Keith Coleman is a 6-3 326lb OG post grad @ Suffield Academy via Hartford Public High School in Hartford CT.

Is he the kid that said he committed, but then everything went quiet on him? Seems he ended PG'ing a year. Herring's commitment certainly can't hurt.

reading between the tea leaves a bit, but Kameron Picket (3* RB out of GA) has seen a pick up in UConn activity per his Twitter followers/following. Skanes, Dixon, Hahn, Coach Brown, Coach Reardon, Coach Cummings, and Aman_UConn all taking part.

I'm pretty sure the likes were because he revealed how the kid probably didn't fit the mold of a HCBD RKG and UConn, picking up a verbal from Skanes, had a much preferred recruit in that regard.

Rutty is in the house we wish to move into while BC is in the house that spurned us. Rutty is now our friend. BC is not.
